Frequently Asked Questions
Will donors notice a change?
The MosesTab giving page can be customized with your church branding, so the look and feel can match — and the experience is generally smoother because donor accounts are tied to member profiles. The main change is that recurring donors need to re-authorize.
How do fees compare to Givelify?
Givelify charges 2.9% + 30¢ on credit/debit. MosesTab uses Stripe at the same processor rate (2.9% + 30¢) with no platform fee on top. ACH on MosesTab is 0.8% capped at $5 — significantly cheaper than Givelify for larger gifts.
Can we keep Givelify as a backup option?
Yes during transition, but most churches phase Givelify out after 60-90 days to avoid maintaining two giving systems. Once recurring donors re-authorize on MosesTab, there's rarely a reason to keep Givelify active.
