Can donors set up recurring giving?

Yes, donors can choose weekly, biweekly, or monthly recurring donations. They can manage their recurring gifts from their giving portal -updating payment methods, changing amounts, or pausing as needed.

Are there transaction fees?

MosesTab charges a 1% platform fee on each donation, plus standard Stripe processing fees (typically 1.5% + 20p in the UK, 2.9% + 30¢ in the US). A full breakdown of fees is shown for every transaction in your dashboard.

Can we create multiple giving funds?

Yes, create unlimited giving baskets such as Tithe, Building Fund, Missions, Benevolence, Youth Ministry, and any other funds your church needs. Donors choose which fund to give to when donating.

Do donors get tax receipts?

Yes, annual giving statements are generated automatically. Donors can also view their complete giving history and download statements anytime from their giving portal.

How does Apple Pay work for church donations?

When a donor visits your church giving page on an iPhone, iPad, or Mac, they see an Apple Pay button. They tap it, authenticate with Face ID or Touch ID, and the donation is processed instantly. No card numbers to type, no app to download. The donor's email is captured automatically from their Apple Pay wallet for receipts.

Do donors need to create an account to give?

No. Donors can give anonymously or provide their email for a receipt. With Apple Pay or Google Pay, the giving process takes about 10 seconds with no account creation required. For recurring giving, a payment method is saved securely via Stripe.
