Will recurring donors need to re-authorize?
Yes. PCI compliance prevents transferring stored card numbers between platforms. Recurring donors will need to re-enter their card or bank info on the new MosesTab giving page. A friendly email explaining the switch typically gets 80%+ of recurring donors moved over within two weeks.
How do MosesTab's transaction fees compare?
MosesTab uses standard Stripe processing rates (2.9% + 30¢ for cards, 0.8% capped for ACH) with no additional platform fee. EasyTithe and many giving-only platforms add 1-2% on top, so most churches see fees drop after switching.
Will donor giving history show in MosesTab?
Yes. Imported giving history shows on each donor's record and includes the date, amount, and fund. Year-end statements include both pre-switch and post-switch contributions.
