Frequently Asked Questions
Will Gift Aid claims work the same way?
MosesTab generates the HMRC Charities Online Gift Aid CSV in the schedule format HMRC expects. You upload it through the Government Gateway just like before. The difference is that MosesTab tracks each donor's active declaration automatically rather than requiring a separate spreadsheet.
Does MosesTab integrate with Bacs?
Yes. MosesTab supports Bacs Direct Debit collection at Bacs interchange rates (typically £0.20–£0.50 per transaction) instead of card processing fees. For recurring giving from active members, this is a meaningful cost reduction over card-based giving.
What about ChurchSuite's add-on modules?
Many ChurchSuite features that require add-ons or extra modules — Bacs DD, advanced reports, external integrations — are included in MosesTab's base plan. The modules you'll see real differences on are Gift Aid CSV generation, Electoral Roll, and PCC governance, where MosesTab is more deeply integrated.
